Here is some information for fishing the Brookville Tailwaters.

Indiana law says that any waterway that is Navigable,

the state owns the water and the land under it to the high watermark. 


The East Fork of the Whitewater is a navigable stream up to the Union/Wayne county line (just south of Richmond),

including all of Franklin County where the tailwater is located.
